The Dark Knight Update: Michael Jai White to Play " Gamble.."

The role of " Gamble " in the upcoming " Batman Begins " sequel " The Dark Knight " has officially gone to Michael Jai White, the muscular martial artist / stuntman / actor best known for roles in such films as " Undisputed II " and " Exit Wounds.."

A few weeks back " Black Snake Moan " actor David Banner revealed he had just auditioned for the part, now it looks like he lost to White..

According to producers, Gamble is the head of one of the competing gangs trying to fill the void in Gotham's criminal underworld since the demise of Carmine Falcone ( Tom Wilkinson ) in ' Begins..'

Sal Maroni ( Eric Roberts ) has taken control of the rest of the Falcone families holdings, while the mysterious costumed anarchist bank robber known as " The Joker " ( Heath Ledger ) represents a new breed of criminal element in Gotha..

Can't wait for Dark Knight! After some disappointing superhero movies, I'm ready for a great one.

Cheers!
