I personally am looking forward to seeing this movie as I am a fan of Ryan Reynolds, but more importantly I am looking forward to seeing what Elle Fanning will bring to the movie.. Most people haven't heard of her, but she is the younger sister of the greatest child actor to date, ( Well I think anyway ) Dakota Fanning.. Elle hasn't had much screen time.. She started of with parts that need to show Dakota Fanning younger like in I am Sam and Taken.. She had her own role in Daddy Day Care, but she does have a lot of films in production at the moment..

The Nines opens in theaters from the 31st August 2007..

Before Steve Carell brings us Agent Maxwell Smart, in the upcoming Get Smart movie, he is a widower in Dan in Real Life..

Dan in Real Life is a Romantic comedy, directed by Peter Hedges, that follows a widower ( Steve Carell ) and father of three who also writes a parenting advice column for his local newspaper.. He falls for the girlfriend ( Juliette Binoche ) of his younger brother ( Dane Cook ) during a family vacation.. Steve Carell stars as the writer who finds his widely - known convictions put to the ultimate test, with Dane Cook and Juliet Binoche respectively assuming the roles of the younger sibling and his radiant girlfriend..

Dan in Real Life will be making you laugh in theaters from the 12th October 2007..

Thor Update..

He's going to shower us in " Stardust " this October but before that director Matthew Vaughn is going to start work on " Thor," a movie version of the popular Marvel Comics character.. For the uninitiated, Thor is hammer - wielding hero with long flowing blonde locks who's sent from the planet Asgard to Earth to protect mankind.. Mark Protosevich ( I Am Legend ) has adapted the comic book series from the big screen and it’s understood that Marvel Studios are aiming to start production later this year..

This'll be the second time Vaughn has entered the comic book world - he was originally lined up to direct " X - Men: The Last Stand " in 2005 but pulled out citing personal reasons..

But who will play the mighty character " Thor?" Well there is are rumors of two contenders..

Kevin McKidd of the HBO series Rome may be the guy to play Thor in the upcoming film.. Well when you look at the above pics of McKidd and Thor, there does seem to be a close resemblance..

The other contender is WWE's Jean - Paul Levesque, aka Triple H.. Marvel wants wrestler Triple H to play the god of thunder, while Vaughn is dead set against it.. Triple H is a name that comes up in a lot of fan casting for the role, mainly because the guy really does look Thor - ish, but his acting resume is a little thin, so I can see where Vaughn is not happy with the idea of making his lead an actor whose main film experience was in Blade: Trinity.. Then again, Triple H would bring his own hammer; even if it is a sledge hammer.. But which movie does Triple H want to be attached too? Thor, Conan or He - Man?

The problem is simple: How much power does Vaughn have in this struggle? If Stardust had opened bigger, he’d certainly have more.. Add to that the fact that a strike is looming, which means that Vaughn isn’t going to have a lot of time to find his perfect Thor, plus everybody’s schedules are getting quite packed as they’re trying to fit in as much last minute work as possible.. If he can find his perfect Thor and convince Marvel to hire him, it won’t make a difference if the actor’s dance card is completely full from here until the strike deadline..

Filming for Thor is expected to start some time in 2008..

A young man named Tristran ( Charlie Cox ) tries to win the heart of Victoria ( Sienna Miller ), the beautiful but cold object of his desire, by going on a quest to retrieve a fallen star.. His journey begins at the Wall - a barrier separating his village from the mysterious and forbidden lands beyond.. On his odyssey, Tristran finds that in the lands beyond the Wall the star is actually a striking girl named Yvaine ( Claire Danes )..

In the land of Stormhold, the dying Lord ( Peter O'Toole ) sets his four living sons on a quest to retrieve the Ruby of Stormhold in order to claim the throne.. Before he dies, one son is killed by another and the Ruby is thrown from the bedchamber.. It flies into space and knocks down the evening star.. The three remaining brothers - not to mention the ghosts of their four dead brothers - begin preparations to retrieve the Ruby, not knowing they are now on the same path as Tristran..

Elsewhere in the lands beyond the Wall, the three evil Lilim - witch - sisters, Lamia ( Michelle Pfeiffer ), Empusa ( Sarah Alexander ), and Mormo ( Joanna Scanlan ) - also witness the fall of the star.. Lamia sets off to retrieve the star so the trio can restore their youth and beauty by consuming the star's heart..

As Tristran seeks to return the star to Victoria, he must deal with these threats as well as encounters with an air pirate named Captain Shakespeare ( Robert De Niro ), a shady trader named Ferdy the Fence ( Ricky Gervais ), and a witch named Ditchwater Sal ( Melanie Hill ) along the way.. Through his travails, his quest changes: he must now win the heart of the star for himself as he discovers the meaning of true love..

Stardust will take you on a journey from the 10th August in the US but for those in Australia, you will have to wait until the 20th September 2007..

Jigsaw and his apprentice Amanda are dead..

' Enter the Dragon ' Remake with a Twist..

" The Shield " executive producer Kurt Sutter will write and make his feature directorial debut with a remake of the classic 1973 film " Enter the Dragon " starring the late Bruce Lee..

Titled " Awaken the Dragon," the remake will put a noir - ish spin to the original story.. It centers on an FBI agent who hunts down a rogue Shaolin monk into the dark, violent underground world of martial arts fight clubs..

The original plot starred Lee as a martial artist who's help is enlisted by an intelligence agency wanting the goods on a crime lord.. Lee's character uses a martial arts tournament as his cover to get on the renegade's heavily guarded island..

Ok, that sounds kind of similar, but it will take place in the setting of underground fight clubs and it sounds to me like they're shooting for fight scenes reminiscent of those from Fight Club.. The goal is to make the action raw and show how brutal Shaolin kung fu can be in a fight..

" I'm a huge noir fan, and this plot lends itself to the film I want to make," Sutter said.. " I wanted to set it in these underground fight clubs where the action is really raw and expose the brutality of Shaolin kung fu.. This will be more ' Raging Bull ' than ' Crouching Tiger ' in its viciousness.."

Sutter intends to cast an established American actor as the FBI agent and a fighting star / relative acting newcomer to play the monk..

Sutter is acting as consulting producer for " The Shield's " final season and is writing the FX pilot " Forever Sam Crow," set in the world of outlaw motorcycle clubs.. For the big screen, he's finishing the script for Paramount Pictures' " Inland Saints.."

Enter the Dragon was the last film Bruce Lee completed before his untimely death in July 1973.. Warner Bros. released the film nearly a month to the day later, and reaped huge sums in both the domestic and international markets ( $25 million in the U.S. and $90 million worldwide, excluding Hong Kong, and in 1973 ).. Lee's iconic position in film history spawned a notorious subgenre of cinema after his death; Brucesploitation; but this seems to be the first attempt at an official " remake.." Interestingly enough, two of the original producers of Enter the Dragon, Fred Weintraub and Paul Heller, will also produce Awaken the Dragon..

Just the fact that they're not calling the new version Enter the Dragon scores points with me.. It's way early but I'll be keeping an eye on this one..

Valkyrie Update..

Dark Knight Update..

Fans of the Caped Crusader may hear something different by the time they watch " The Dark Knight " in theaters nearby..

An exclusive report brought in by Superhero Hype! has earned statement from composer Hans Zimmer saying he is working on a new Batman theme for the highly - anticipated project, which will be the second installment in the revitalized superhero franchise..

" There is a big Batman theme which I was playing with for the last one," Zimmer told the site, " but I always felt the character hadn't earned it yet, so I just want to go and play around, and I now want to go and complete that theme, so that's part of the idea.. I felt I had a good start, and now it would be really nice to develop that world a little further.."

Set to open on the 18^th July 2008 in theaters nationwide under Warner Bros. Pictures banner, " Knight " this time finds our hero teaming up with Lieutenant Jim Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent to dismantle the remaining criminal organizations that plague the city streets.. Though the partnership proves to be effective, they soon find themselves prey to a reign of chaos unleashed by a rising criminal mastermind known as The Joker..

Whilst the " Batman " sequel didn't score even a mention on the Warners panel at Comic Con, viral marketing continues unabated throughout San Diego.. Fake dollar bills, websites, smoke spelling, etc were all seen and lead to two important reveals today - a teaser trailer and a new photo..

The trailer is truely a teaser, literally the logobut with some interesting.. Not sure about Ledger's voice take, but Caine gets a great line.. The new photo shows Heath in Joker makeup holding a knife to Rachel ( Maggie Gyllenhaal )..

When he discovers his wife has been cheating on him, Ted weaves an intricate stratagem to extract his revenge.. A plan so meticulous, so flawless, it makes him the architect of the perfect murder; or so he believes..

Willy Beachum ( Ryan Gosling ) is a young, up - and - coming assistant district attorney who " hates to lose.." He is seduced by a prestigious corporate law firm - dressed as the slinky, doe - eyed attorney Nikki Gardner ( Rosamund Pike ).. All he has to do before starting his new job in high stakes corporate law is tie up one last open and shut case; or so it would seem..

Ted confesses to the murder of his wife and refuses council, preferring to represent himself in court.. Hence the two characters are drawn into a pivotal encounter, Ted with the quiet superiority of a master manipulator and Willy with the impatience of an arrogant hot - shot..

Can a movie where Anthony Hopkins plays a clever murderer go wrong? The answer is no, no it can’t - thank goodness! Though he trades " Clarice " for " Willy Boy," and cannibalism for a more calculated sort of murder, Hopkins evokes his Silence of the Lambs heyday in what is definitely one of the best thrillers of 2007..

The fascinating interplay of these strong characters is finely crafted in " Fracture.." The two leads are realised with subtle, assured performances.. Hopkins shuffles through his scenes with brooding, dead - pan malice, never quite achieving the seething menace of his academy award winning performance as Hannibal Lecter in " The Silence of the Lambs.." But his portrayal of Ted is somehow more human than monster, more calculating than vicious.. And Gosling is believable, if slightly underplayed as the hot - shot lawyer. He brings intensity to the moral conflict within, as Willy struggles in the intricately woven web of intrigue..

Cinematography is adequate, if unremarkable, and supporting cast performances are effective.. The script is dense and dark, with swift twists and turns.. But the structure is formulaic, adhering so close to the Hollywood three - act arrangement as to be ultimately predictable.. And somehow the pacing feels slow, the double jeopardy theme is drawn thin with its final twist artful but unimpressive..

" Fracture " is a cerebral thriller, with more puzzles than action, more introspection than impact.. It feels coldly dramatic, too calculating in its meticulous structure and like its central antagonist, almost too clever.. Even if you manage to guess its surprising ending, the movie will shock you with how well it’s put together, from the seamless acting to constricting camera angles.. If you’re a fan of psychological thrillers, or if you are just eager to hear Anthony Hopkins call someone " Old Sport " in his chillingly playful voice, you surely won’t be disappointed by Fracture..

I give " Fracture " 4 out of 5.. I also award it .5 as Sir Anthony Hopkins scares the shit out of me..

Another Night at the Museum..

" Tomorrow's Entertainment.." has recently spoken with Thomas Lennon, producer, writer and director of ' Reno 911! ' who filled us in a little on what he’s got coming up in the future..

As we speak, he's in talks with FOX to bring the dead president's and extinct animals of the ' Museum ' back to life..

" I don't think anyone ever thought ( Night at the Museum ) was going to make 560 million! It's in sort - of ' mega hit ' territory now, which is nice," he says.. " Right now, we’re actually in very early preliminary talks.." ( About the sequel )

Lennon's also got another film in the works, " How to Stage a Robot Uprising " which Mike Myers is attached to star in..

" It's slowly heading towards going," says Lennon.. " It’s a slow business the movie business - years go by and all you seem to be doing is tweaking one paragraph.. Nations crumble.." ( By the time its done )

Thomas didn't disclose any of the plotlines, however he did confirm that " there'll be existing characters and plenty of new ones.."

Night at the Museum 2 will star Ben Stiller and Robin Williams, who have already been signed to the sequel.. We can only hope that Owen will sign on too.. His contribution as Jedediah in " Night at the Museum " really took the movie to another level.. I’m not sure Robin William brought that much to the movie though..

No word yet whether director Shawn Levy will also return to the follow - up..

Saw IV Update - Official Movie Poster..

A while back we posted what a poster for Saw IV, which most people on the net thought was the official movie poster.. But " Tomorrow's Entertainment " got the official word it wasn’t, it was just an invite for a promotional dinner for the relentless franchise.. Now we can bring you the official poster for " Saw IV.. " I have gotten guarantee that it is 100% real..

The poster shows a typical supermarket produce weigh - scale, which features Tobin Bell in a most unusual pose..

In Saw IV, Jigsaw and his apprentice Amanda are dead..

So it’s not like we have to come back and think.."

Bousman, who used to work on " X - Files " compares his experience on the highly successful television series to working on ' Saw IV..' " I would always go up and say [ to the producers ], ' Do you guys know where this thing is going? Do you have an answer?' and they would go, ' No, no, we really don't..' In 'Saw 4 ' we know where it’s going and there is a definite conclusion and it’s badass.. I’m glad to be involved with something that I know where this thing is going.."

Lionsgate will release the film on the 26th October 2007..

While the film is littered with hundreds of gags and references to politics, religion and domesticity, the central plot finds Homer accidentally polluting Springfield's water supply to toxic levels - forcing the Environmental Protection Agency to place a glass dome over the town to separate it from the rest of the United States..

When the townsfolk turn on the Simpsons, the four - fingered family flees to Alaska..

" The Simpsons Movie " also deals with Bart's crumbling relationship with Homer ( The daredevil kid turns to Flanders for some diddly - doodly companionship ), Lisa's Al Gore - style environmental presentation called " An Irritating Truth," Homer's adoption of a pig he dubs ' Spider - Pig,' and countless other threads..

Written by a team of veteran " Simpsons " writers - including Matt Groening, James L. Brooks, Al Jean and Mike Scully - the movie is consistently smart and often hysterical.. Nobody does social commentary like " The Simpsons,"and even after all these years the franchise is still at the top of its game..

The film's best moments involve a full - frontal shot of one of the key characters, a line about curly - haired children and a gay joke delivered by the adorable Ralph Wiggum..

Only a scrooge would accuse the movie of cashing in on an entertainment people can watch for free from home.. In fact, Homer addresses that issue in the opening frames, saying: " I can't believe we're paying to see something we get on TV for free.. Everyone in this theatre is a sucker.."

Call me a sucker, but " The Simpsons Movie " is worth every penny..

Book Review - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows..

Like everyone else who has gotten the smallest smidgen of enjoyment of Harry Potter I was looking forward to reading the last of the series ( Allegedly ).. In fact, once I received Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, I promptly sat down and read it cover to cover in one sitting.. This 600 - page fantasy reads rather well, it has to be said, flowing nicely along at a good pace.. It's dark and bloody, but then again what do you expect with Voldermort kicking around?

Millions of fans worldwide lined up at the stroke of midnight, 9am or whatever time it was at a bookstore near you, to get their hands on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the final installment in author J.K. Rowling's magnus opus of a boy wizard's epic fight against the evil Lord Voldemort.. I am pleased to report that the hype was well deserved.. The Deathly HallowsPotter is a grand finale.. It is a fitting conclusion, filled with darkness and triumph, that will have fans rejoicing.. Rowling's narrative is spellbinding, this 600 - page fantasy reads rather well, it has to be said, every page seamlessly flowing into the next.. She skillfully takes ten years and seven novels to a climax worthy of literary greatness..

The Deathly Hallows begins with Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters firmly in control.. The Ministry of Magic has fallen and The Order of the Phoenix, those loyal to the deceased Albus Dumbledore, face death at every turn.. The first scene of action and danger is a spectacular stunt, involving no fewer than 15 of the good guys in mortal peril.. It is testament to Rowling’s gifts that her readers know, love and will be able to recite the family history of all 15 - and would be sorry to see them go..

Harry, Ron, and Hermione are running for their lives.. Severus Snape has been instituted as Headmaster of Hogwarts by the new Voldemort regime.. It is a dark and hopeless time in the wizarding world..

Harry knows that he must find and destroy the seven hidden pieces of Voldemort's soul, horcruxes, but struggles to decipher the mysterious clues left behind by Dumbledore.. Even more disturbing are revelations that Dumbledore himself once practiced dark magic.. And that he had a family that was undone by his tragic actions.. The weight of the war takes its toll and despair begins to creep into Harry's psyche.. But the battle is not his alone.. Harry is surrounded by loyalty.. Hermione, whose cunning and brilliance has always been extolled, proves that she is the greatest witch of her day.. Ron, and the entire Weasley family, are courageous to the end.. They help Harry to discover Dumbledore's greatest secret, the awesome power of The Deathly Hallows, three magical objects that can conquer death itself..

The question every fan has been asking is which characters die.. They won't be disappointed, because there is death in spades.. Many characters die and some of them not well.. They are tortured, maimed, and killed in a variety of disturbing ways.. Rowling does not retreat from the horrors of evil.. Voldemort is Satan incarnate here, a monster with capability and drive.. This is the battle of good versus evil that fans have been waiting to see..

The Deathly Hallows is packed to the brim with action.. There are chases, spectacular wizarding duels, and all - out battle scenes that I'm sure has Warner Bros. moist in anticipation of the film.. But to J.K. Rowling's continued credit, none of it is overdone or unnecessary.. The characters are fighting a long and brutal war.. There are battles to be won and tragedies to be had.. Such is the nature of war, which she never trivializes.. Every loss is felt and has meaning in the context of the story..

Rowling also gets top marks for her superb character development.. This is not the Harry, Ron, and Hermione from The Sorcerer's Stone.. I love that they are mature.. The characters handle the deadly issues they face with realistic emotional responses.. There's no contrivances or melodrama here.. I believe this is J.K. Rowling's greatest strength as a writer.. She's highly imaginative, but her skill in writing dialogue and building tension is amongst the best writers of all time.. She can take great pride in writing not one, but seven masterful works of fiction..

I'm too close to having read the book to judge it against the others in the series.. It's a stellar conclusion to an incredible body of work.. Fan reaction will be gushing, as it almost always is, but I think the critics will like this one as well.. At the end of the day it's a fantastic read and that's all that you want in a great book..

As for the final chapter, I actually had a feeling Rowling would finish with this storyline.. Ever since " Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets " I have thought this would be the way she will end it, as it now leaves it open for more sequels.. As Rowling said, this will be the final installment for Harry Potter.. So say hello to " James Potter in the Potter’s Never Say Die.."

I give " Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows " 4.5 out of 5..

The truth is still out there - and X Files agents Mulder and Scully are on their way back to discover it..

In an exclusive interview David Duchovny, who played Fox Mulder in the cult sci - fi TV series for eight years, told " Tomorrow's Entertainment.." he and the show’s creator Chris Carter are planning on making a sequel to their 1998 movie..

David said:

" It’s always been my desire to turn The X Files into a film franchise.. We’re hoping to get together just under a year from now and make another X Files movie.. Chris is working on the script right now with Frank Spotnitz, who was one of the writers on the show.. Gillian Anderson who played Dana Scully hasn’t signed yet, but we’d need to have her on board.."

David and Gillian stopped making The X Files - a show packed full of alien chasing and conspiracy solving - in 2002 in a bid to pursue other projects..

He’s gone on to star in movies including Connie And Carla, Full Frontal and House Of D, while Gillian has appeared on the West End stage in What the Night Is For and will be on BBC1 shortly in the station’s adaptation of Charles Dickens’ Bleak House..

And while David doesn’t know exactly what Chris’s script for the reunion X Files film contains, he said it won’t be picking up the storyline from the show’s final episode..

" I think we’re going back to the ‘monster of the week’ type feel, where if you’re not an avid fan and don’t understand the mythology you can still come to it and get the movie," David revealed.

"Especially because at this point I think some people would have forgotten what the mythology was or what happened in seasons two, three and four.."

He added: " If the movie’s a success then it’s a way we can continue to make the show while pursuing other projects.. We have a great launching pad for some really thrilling stories and the two main characters are still very vivid.. And I hope to do this a couple more times before we’re too old!"

The X Files was famous for its complex mythology and outlandish conspiracy theories, which thousands of websites are dedicated to explaining..

But did David ever have trouble keeping up with the plot when the scripts landed through his letterbox?

" I don’t think I ever tried," he admits.. " I worked on a strictly need to know basis.. Although when I wrote more on the show I did get more interested.. The funny thing is, at first we weren’t even going to have this whole overarching mythology.. The X Files started out as a ' monster of the week ' kind of show without anything joining one episode to the next.. Then Gillian got pregnant at the end of the first series and needed to take some time off.. They had to have her abducted and Chris, to his credit, used the hardship of Gillian’s pregnancy to usher a soap opera element into the show and create this continuing mythology within it.. Then that element took over.."

David told us: " I did eight years on the X Files and then the last couple of episodes of the ninth and final series.. It was a life - altering and career - altering experience.. I have great memories of the show and when I do look back at the older stuff, from the first and second years, I’m amazed at how much I recall.. When I watch an episode I won’t remember a scene, but I will remember the day I shot it and what I had for lunch.. What’s interesting to me is not what’s on screen, but what was happening in my life at that point.. Which I’m sure is the exact opposite of how fans of the show remember it - they don’t care what I had for lunch!"

But for many fans it was the chemistry between Mulder and Scully that turned the show into a worldwide hit..

Their will they - won’t they relationship kept viewers hooked - and saw the show pick up Emmy, Golden Globe and Bafta awards..

David told us: " Some people just throw sparks together on screen and me and Gillian had that.. I think part of it was down to us as performers, but a lot of the credit has to go to how concretely drawn the characters were.. Mulder was the more feminine and more intuitive one, whereas Scully had traditionally masculine traits.. And the fact there was really never any physical contact until right near the very end was a great tease..

He added: " Gillian and I got on, but we weren’t friends away from the show.. The X Files was just a job for me and by the time we got to the middle years we were leading separate lives and just coming to work and making the show.. We still email occasionally, I think she’s living in England now.. I do miss the environment of The X Files and the people who made it, but after the first few months of not doing the show you have to move on and get on with the rest of your life..

After his African adventure in " Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls," Ace returned to Florida, married girlfriend Melissa and became the doting father of a baby boy.. Never one to sit still, Ace's curious nature took him on another remote case.. The goofball gumshoe was never to be seen or heard from again.. Single mom Melissa couldn't fully put the past behind her.. Now a zookeeper, she and Ace Jr. ( Josh Flitter ) have made a life carrying on without her husband.. Much to Melissa's chagrin, however, 12 - year - old Ace Jr. has begun to follow in his father's comic footsteps.. Australian pop diva Kylie Minogue is set to join David Tennant in the TV Christmas special of the most popular British science - fiction TV drama " Doctor Who.."

This first photo of the pop princess on the set of " Doctor Who " was taken two days ago..

Kylie crouches in fear next to the Time Lord, played by David Tennant.. The singer has been cast as Astrid, a waitress on the Titanic, in the Christmas special..

The episode, Voyage Of The Damned, began filming in Cardiff this month.. The story follows on directly from the ending of the third series, when viewers saw the " Titanic " crash through the Tardis's walls..

The BBC said Minogue, 39, would play a " major lead role " alongside " Dr Who " actor David Tennant..

Minogue said: " It is an incredible thrill to be joining David and the entire " Dr Who " production for this year's Christmas special.. " Dr Who " enjoys a unique history and it is going to be very exciting to be a part of that.."

The story will follow on directly from the ending of the third series which finished on Saturday..

Paramount, in a move that makes me again wonder how little imagination Hollywood has left, has decided that a " Footloose " remake was in order.. Since " Footloose " was adapted into a Broadway musical, Paramount figures that they would adapt the musical back onto film; as a musical..

With the Oscar - winning and box - office success of '' Chicago '' producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron have become the go - to guys for musicals on film.. They recently brought the classic '' The Music Man '' to TV, they're working on a film version of the classic '' Guys and Dolls '' for Miramax, and now, Paramount is developing a musical remake of the 1984 film " Footloose " and will develop it for " High School Musical " star Zac Efron and director Kenny Ortega.. Dylan Sellers will produce..

The plan is to turn the project into a full - blown musical.. Footloose was already turned into a Broadway musical..

Ortega is in negotiations to helm and choreograph, and Efron is in talks to play Ren McCormack, the rebellious newcomer ( Originally played by Kevin Bacon ) in a town where dancing has been banned..

The new movie will be an update of the Kevin Bacon movie, not the Broadway musical it spawned in 1998, though Dean Pitchford, who wrote the original movie and its song lyrics as well as adapting his screenplay into the Broadway show, will pitch in again as executive producer and will write four more songs.. ( Some of the original tunes, including the title song and '' Let's Hear It for the Boy,'' will stay ) Unlike the original movie, the characters will sing this time; as with '' Chicago '' the filmmakers are looking for actors willing to warble and hoof on camera.. Hogwarts came to the famous Grauman's Chinese theater in Hollywood yesterday.. This is the world famous theater where tons of movie stars have put their feet and hand's in the cement..

To help celebrate the upcoming release of the new " Harry Potter " film, the three main stars - Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson - joined many Hollywood stars who have left their handprints and footprints and in this case, wandprints, in wet cement in the forecourt of the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, thus becoming immortalized.. Grauman’s is the one undisputed shrine in Hollywood at which every Tinseltown pilgrim pays homage.. The renowned forecourt represents a virtual " Who’s Who ” of Hollywood superstars including Clark Gable, Marilyn Monroe, John Wayne, Elizabeth Taylor, Cary Grant, Judy Garland, Jack Nicholson and Clint Eastwood just to name a few, and the space in the theatre’s small forecourt is so scarce that the honor is reserved solely for true Hollywood superstars..

The trio were introduced to hundreds of fans who attended the event by Harry Potter producer David Heyman..

DAVID HEYMAN: " This is amazing.. When I first read this first book which wasn’t called " The Sorcerer’s Stone ” it was called " Harry Potter and Philosopher’s Stone ” in England, I most certainly had no idea that we’d be standing here having made five films and Dan, Rupert and Emma would be honored in this amazing way by putting their hands, feet and, yes, their wands in this place.. This tradition goes back to 1929 I believe, and it’s an amazing, amazing thing, so we’re all really excited.."

Heyman proceeded to introduce the people connected with film including director David Yates who got a big cheer..

" I just want to bring out the three actors who are going to join here people like John Wayne, Sophia Loren, George Clooney, Brad Pitt, it’s amazing.. Anyway, let me bring out Harry, Ron and Hermione - Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson.."

Radcliffe, Grint and Watson seemed genuinely overwhelmed when they come out..

EMMA: " I’m really nervous.. I can’t believe I’m here, I can’t believe I’m here.. I’m so honored to be here, I think it’s probably the biggest thing I’ve ever done in my entire life.."

RUPERT: " This is just so incredible.. We’re so nervous, it’s surreal, we’re honored - " ( can’t hear the rest because the crowd is screaming sooooo loud! )

DANIEL ( screaming even louder if that’s at all possible ) " Thank you all very, very much for coming.. This is extremely amazing to join people like John Wayne, and just looking around at some of the other names here is remarkable.. Thank you for letting us do this.."

They put their wands in the cement first - wrote their names by their wands - then did their handprints and lastly their footprints.. After the ceremony was over, here’s what Daniel and Emma had to tell us:

DANIEL: " It didn’t really hit us all how much this was actually going to be until we actually got out here and did it; and so thank you very much indeed.."

EMMA: " Looking at all the names down on the ground here, everyone from Marilyn Monroe to Mickey Mouse, it’s just amazing.. We’re just very flattered and thank you so much, it was really incredible.."

Well it is finally here.. Better still I am finally able to post a review on the movie everyone has been waiting for.. " Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.." Harry returns for his fifth year of study at Hogwarts and discovers that much of the wizarding community is in denial about the teenager's recent encounter with the evil Lord Voldemort, preferring to turn a blind eye to the news that Voldemort has returned.. Fearing that Hogwarts' venerable Headmaster, Albus Dumbledore, is lying about Voldemort's return in order to undermine his power and take his job, the Minister for Magic, Cornelius Fudge, appoints a new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher to keep watch over Dumbledore and the Hogwarts students..

But Professor Dolores Umbridge's Ministry - approved course of defensive magic leaves the young wizards woefully unprepared to defend themselves against the dark forces threatening them and the entire wizarding community, so at the prompting of his friends Hermione and Ron, Harry takes matters into his own hands.. Meeting secretly with a small group of students who name themselves " Dumbledore's Army," Harry teaches them how to defend themselves against the Dark Arts, preparing the courageous young wizards for the extraordinary battle that lies ahead..

" Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix " marks the most mature year at Hogwarts yet - but at the same time suffers from 'middle - chapter syndrome' and a mountain of exposition in preparation for the final two adaptations, " Half-Blood Prince " and " Deathly Hallows.."

Things are indeed getting darker in the world of Potter.. In " Order of the Phoenix," both the mood and color scheme are grim, gray and black.. There is pink, as a matter of fact, but this belongs to the first female villain of the literary and film series.. Harry goes through a series of experiences that initiate him into the adult world: frightening nightmares, a first kiss, an encounter with the odiousness of order, the discovery of the complexity of the battle between good and evil, and painfully hard lessons that have to be wrestled from death on many different levels.. Sound quite heavy? It is, and so are the burdens of growing up, even if you are an accomplished wizard..

The movie begins as summer comes to an end, Harry Potter ( Daniel Radcliffe ) has a nasty encounter with two spectral Dementors, in which Harry saves his cousin Dudley Dursley ( Harry Melling ) from them.. Harry is forced to defend his actions to a court at the Ministry of Magic for the underage use of magic outside of school and in the presence of a Muggle.. Things seem stacked against him until Albus Dumbledore ( Michael Gambon ), the headmaster of Hogwarts, defends him and he is allowed to return to school..

But he's not exactly welcomed there.. Many in the community refuse to believe he is telling the truth about the return of the evil Lord Voldemort.. There are still many in the community who refuse to believe that Voldemort has returned and is gathering new followers.. Harry is troubled by nightmares and feels isolated even from his best friends, Hermione and Ron..

Saved by the intervention of Dumbledore ( Michael Gambon ), he begins a new term at Hogwarts accused of lying about his encounter with the evil Voldemort and distrusted by some students.. But danger is afoot at the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry: the evil Lord Voldemort ( Ralph Fiennes ) is rebuilding his army, while a new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher - the conservative, control - crazy Professor Dolores Umbridge ( Imelda Staunton ) - is plotting to overthrow Dumbledore..

With the school doing little to improve their wizarding skills, Harry, Hermione and Ron team with a select band of students to form Dumbledore's Army and start training themselves for the battles to come.. Hermione and Ron convince Harry to teach a group of willing teenagers the appropriate spells.. Their group is a tribute to the original Order of the Phoenix, a secret organization formed by Dumbledore to combat the forces of evil; Harry's parents, the Weasley's, and his friend Sirius Black were members.. Harry's spirits are lifted as he teaches his peers to use their powers in new ways.. He is especially impressed by the support he gets from Luna Lovegood ( Evanna Lynch ), a soft - spoken young girl and Cho Chang ( Katie Leung ), his long - time admirer..

With the danger of Voldemort drawing closer, Harry and a rebel group of students have to fly back to London for a climactic face - off against Voldemort and his henchmen in a Ministry of Magic storeroom..

Since the first " Harry Potter " film was released in 2001, audiences around the world have had the great pleasure of watching Radcliffe and his two young co - stars, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson, grow up before their eyes.. The three have matured to a point where their characters are effortlessly portrayed - " Order of the Phoenix " is the strongest in the series in terms of performances..

Hermione and Ron are ever - present, but their significance in the story seems to shrink as Harry grows.. But to dwell on a few weaknesses would be to neglect the obvious point - that Harry Potter is older, bigger and darker than ever.. And no one would want to miss his journey..

" Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix " overflows with devious plots, plans and clever machinations, and is constantly entertaining, wonderfully condensing what was the longest of JK Rowling's books.. ( 800 pages if I remember correctly )

Alan Rickman delivers an outstanding hissing performance as the dark and doleful Snape, and Helena Bonham Carter crops up in the final section as the maniacal villainess Bellatrix Lestrange..

The youngsters are all pretty impressive.. But Ron ( Rupert Grint ) is never given enough to do, and while Hermione ( Emma Watson ) is as earnest as ever, it is Ron's sister, ( Bonnie Wright ) Ginny, who makes the most subtle and memorable impact.. Her time is to come..

Oddly, the Cho Chang character simply fades away and disappears after her lip action with Harry, but you don't mind too much because the final half - hour is a truly classic piece of action - adventure.. The special effects are superb, and this time round we really get some proper wizard duelling, with the wands doubling as deadly weapons and blood spilled as the young heroes slug it out with a grizzled group of baddie magicians..

There is even a Star Wars moment as Dumbledore ( The Obi - Wan Kenobi in this version ) goes wand - to - wand with Voldemort ( Darth Vader ) as they battle for the life and soul of Harry Potter..

This time the magical teens are making the difficult transition to young adults.. Love, betrayal, independence and commitment all play their part.. The film is a cracking piece of entertainment - it's well over two hours long, but you simply wish it could go on..

Wonderfully directed by David Yates, it is an energetic epic that will keep Potter fans more than happy as the countdown for the new - and final - book draws on..

I give " Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix " 4 out of 5..

Marsters' website reports he's currently filming a part in the second series of " UK sci - fi television favorite Torchwood.." ( Well actually if you ask me, Doctor Who is the UK's favorite sci - fi series..)

James Marsters is best known for his roles as Spike on " Buffy the Vampire Slayer " and Dr. Milton Fine on " Smallville.."

Marsters is also an acclaimed musician having played in bands and solo in bars and clubs for many years and he was the lead singer for the rock band Ghost of the Robot..

So what should fans expect of Marsters, as he takes on the adult spinoff of " Doctor Who?"

Marsters tells Tomorrow's Entertainment that his role is " going to offend some, titillate others - to the point where they would need to finish themselves off afterwards.."

He also said that Brits are more liberal in their approach to sex and sexuality than Americans, but wouldn't spill the beans on what exactly we'll happen during his stay.. However, whilst he wouldn't be specific, the hint is that something " omnisexual " was going to happen in the episode; which would fit right in with the cast as each of the five main cast members have shared smooching and love affairs with members of both genders..

" Torchwood," an anagram of " Doctor Who," is a secret task force that deals with alien encounters.. John Barrowman plays ageless omnisexual time agent Captain Jack Harkness, who leads the Cardiff - based team.. The series was created by Russell T Davies, who is responsible for reviving the series " Doctor Who.."

Harry Potter film series star Daniel Radcliffe spoke a little about his thoughts on Book Seven.. As we reach the final weeks before the big reveal, Radcliffe and his co - stars were asked about what they think will happen to their counterparts, especially in light of the heavy odds against the survival of some of them..

" That's hilarious," Radcliffe said in a press conference.. " That's interesting.. The public must really love me.." He said, " A couple of years ago I said that I really, I would like Harry to die.. Because I think that is; a conclusive ending.. I'm sort of going to stay away from that now, because the next day the headlines will be ' Radcliffe Wants Harry Dead..' Which is, you know, awful.. But I do think it would be fitting, in a way, because when you consider the prophecy that was made about him and Voldemort and things like that, one of them has got to go.."
Rupert Grint, moviedom's Ron Weasley, " I wouldn't really mind ( Ron's death ) if it was a really cool scene, if it was done in a really cool way.. It doesn't really matter, because it's the last one, but I think I'd like him to sort of survive.. I don't know.. There's a lot of rumors going around, so I don't know what's going to happen.."

" I'm sort of praying that she's going to make it," Emma Watson said about her character Hermione Granger.. " I don't know why, but I think she's going to make it.. I hope so.. I really hope.. Back in March Warner Brothers announced that the entire Harry Potter cast, including Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint were locked up for all seven Potter films, and we all were relieved.. Well it may have been premature..

Monday in the Herald Sun, Radcliffe himself spoke out on the subject of the seventh film, and he contradicted everything the WB said in their announcement. Daniel Radcliffe says he has not yet agreed to be in the seventh movie.. He says, " It all depends on the script and who's going to direct it.. It would be foolish to make it for the sake of it.."

Hang on a minute.. What do you mean for the sake of it Daniel? How about finishing what you started! Do you film the ending of a movie or series just ‘ for the sake of it..’ I think it’s pretty unlikely Warner Bros would release a statement saying Daniel is in the 7th movie if he wasn’t secured..

Saw IV Update..

Jigsaw and his apprentice Amanda are dead.. Now, upon the news of Detective Kerry's murder, two seasoned FBI profilers, Agent Strahm and Agent Perez, arrive in the terrified community to assist the veteran Detective Hoffman in sifting through Jigsaw's latest grizzly remains and piecing together the puzzle.. However, when SWAT Commander Rigg is abducted and thrust into a game, the last officer untouched by Jigsaw has but ninety minutes to overcome a series of demented traps and save an old friend or face the deadly consequences..

The filmmakers behind " Saw IV " promise not to cheat the fans who stuck by the first three.. Though their main killer, Jigsaw, perished at the end of " Saw III," actor Tobin Bell remains in " Saw IV.." And producer Mark Burg promises that they're not pulling a soap opera twist..

" Here's what I'm going to tell everybody without ruining the movie," said Burg.. " Tobin is dead.. We don't jump the shark.. It's not his twin brother.. All these crazy ideas that I've heard, he's dead.. All I will tell you is yes, he's dead and yes, he's in the movie.."

The creepiest moments of " Saw " films are when Jigsaw explains his diabolical tasks to his victims.. Yeah, seeing people getting ripped apart is cringe - inducing, but we want to see some more of that banter.. Actor Tobin Bell promises more verbal sparring with the new victims in " Saw IV.."

" There's a guy in this film that we've never met before, who I can only describe him as being disenfranchised," said Bell.. " Jigsaw comes into contact with this guy and they're like total opposites in certain ways.. I view Jigsaw as someone who is basically living on a frontier in some ways.. Imagine those guys on the moon.. Many people talk a good game about the things that they care about in this world, but they do nothing about it.. He, right or wrong, steps forward, does what he does.. So this guy he runs into in this film, or their paths cross, this guy is one of the lost of the world.."

Jigsaw has previously spoken to doctors and cops.. The lesser characters only get to hear him on tape.. This may be the first time Jigsaw has faced an intellectual lesser.. " As I think about it now, although Jigsaw is extremely well educated, he's a philosopher, a mechanical engineer, he had everything to live for in his previous career, this other guy had never had anything.. There's an interesting dialogue between the two of them.. Anyway, you get to meet this guy in the film.. I think it's a very interesting juxtaposition.."

As an actor, Bell appreciates the rhythm of his " Saw " dialogues, including their use of silence.. The described scene applies those concepts too.. " It's in the scene where he talks to this guy who's disenfranchised, totally disenfranchised.. It's interesting to have two people that come from totally different worlds, totally different training having this conversation, this dialogue.. To be honest, I'm doing most of the talking in this dialogue.."

MovieWeb has recently interviewed actor Tobin Bell, here is what he had to say..

The first thing I got to know is, how many more of these movies does Jigsaw have left in him before he kicks the bucket?

Tobin Bell: Well, you know that I've been dead since the beginning. I was dead on the floor. Did you see Saw One?

Of course I did.

Tobin Bell: I was dead on the floor. I've been dead since the very beginning. Its kind of amazing that I'm still alive and kicking. I will tell you what. I will answer that question. The question is, "How many more sequels will Jigsaw be in?"

Yeah.

Tobin Bell: I think there is an unlimited number that Jigsaw can be involved in. It's just a question of story. And how that story plays out. But you will find out in the very first scene of Saw IV what his condition is at the beginning of the film.

If he is faking it, how does he suffer through someone working on his brain like at the end of Saw III?

Tobin Bell: That's a good question. You'll see right at the beginning of Saw IV.

Will we see any more of Jigsaw's love interest, the mystery girl that comes to him in the flashback while his brain is being worked on?

Tobin Bell: What makes you ask that? Is that something you are interested in?

What do you mean?

Tobin Bell: Was that little flashback interesting to you?

I found it very interesting, then they didn't go any further with it.

Tobin Bell: Oh, okay. That's right. That's right. You are going to find out more about that in this film. That's why I asked you. Yeah, you will find out who she is. But you just never know how things register in people's minds. Especially when something comes up as quickly as that did. So, that's good. I'm glad you were interested in that.

Can you tell me anything about your favorite kill scene in this movie?

Tobin Bell: There are a couple of traps in this film that are pretty amazing. All I can say is, I think the one with Cecil is pretty amazing. You will remember that I told you this when you see Cecil die in the film.

Can you tell me anything about Cecil's character?

Tobin Bell: I can't really tell you that. Uh, Cecil is a guy...(Being coy) Let's see, did we meet Cecil in a previous Saw? Have we met Cecil before? Or is this the first time we have met him? I think this is his first film, but I wouldn't be surprised if we see more of him.

In the third one, they cleared up a lot of the continuity problems that some people have had a problem with. One of the things we haven't learned yet is, in the first film Jigsaw was taking puzzle pieces out of people's backs. That seems to be a discontinued plot point. Are we going to figure out what Jigsaw was doing with those puzzle pieces of flesh?

Tobin Bell: Mmm-hmm. Yeah. We will. One of the interesting things about Saw is that you don't find out about things in sequential or linear order. One of the things that fans have liked a lot is, we don't forget about details. They come back and reveal themselves as the story evolves. So, yes you will find out more about those jigsaw pieces.

One of the things my friends and me have talked about is that, other film franchises have intermingled with each other. We have Freddy vs. Jason and the like. Is there any other franchise villain that could go up against Jigsaw? Could he possibly find himself in a Hostel?

Tobin Bell: No. I really understand when people talk about him as some sort of horror icon. In my mind, I don't think he views himself in that way. I certainly don't view him in that way. As some kind of giant horror guy. I always try to work on the humanity in any character that I play, and that includes Jigsaw. I just don't have that perspective on him. I understand that people do. When you say, "Go up against." I imagine two lawnmowers coming at each other. I don't have that kind of view of him. My view on him is one of tremendous delicacy. I don't think he would probably do very well going up against anybody. Certainly neither one of those guys. If he has any strength, its in is commitment and determination. And in his intellect.

How do you feel about all the popularity you've received from this? Are you happy to be a horror icon?

Tobin Bell: I'm very happy to be a part of a very successful piece of art, as the Saw films have been. One gets into this to participate. It's the coming together of a good story. So, that aspect of it has been just splendid. It really has nothing to do with me, or my popularity. I'm fascinated. Groups of skateboarders come up to me and start to talk to me about the Saw movies. And generally, they talk a lot about the concepts that are in the films. I'm always interested in that. They don't talk that much about the traps. They talk about things like, when I said to Detective Daniels in Saw II, "How would you live your life differently if you knew the exact moment of your own death?" These are twelve year olds. And they are talking about appreciations of blessing. Things like that. So, yeah. I ask them what they like about the films. And they say, "Wow, they're so crazy. And they are so real. And they teach you stuff." And I'm like, "What?" And they start to talk about some of the concepts that get interspersed between the murder and the mayhem. I find that far more interesting than anything to do with my popularity. Whatever that is. I don't think about that sort of thing. I try to bring as much as I can every single moment we are on that set. If it works out well, that's great. So far it has been a wonderful opportunity, and I feel very pleased about it.

There's nothing you can tell me about the movie?

Tobin Bell: About Saw IV? I think Darren is going to talk more about the storyline than I am able to. I will be interested to hear what he has to say about it. I think you get to meet some new characters in it. Some people that Jigsaw has been connected to and in touch with during a protracted period of time that we have never met before. That having been said, you meet new characters, but they also fill in some of the details from the previous stories. Which I think is always fun.

Any chance we'll see Jigsaw in space?

Tobin Bell: There's always a chance. You never know what Hollywood is going to do.

Do you frequent the drive-in?

Tobin Bell: Oh, yeah. Sure. You mean a drive-in restaurant or a drive-in movie?

The movies.

Tobin Bell: I grew up on drive-ins. I haven't been to one for a while.

Do you think it would be a good idea to have the premier for this at a drive-in?

Tobin Bell: I don't know. Ask Mark. He would probably know about that. I don't know if a drive-in would be right for Saw. This movie is too much for some people. I think a drive-in is the wrong environment. Yeah.

The Dark Knight Update: Michael Jai White to Play " Gamble.."

Mummy: Curse of the Dragon..

" Tomorrow's Entertainment " has learned that the character of Alex O'Connell, the son of protagonists Rick and Evelyn O'Connell, will return in The Mummy 3 ( a.k.a. Mummy: Curse of the Dragon ).. The role of Alex will be played by Australia's own, Luke Ford..

Alex was introduced as a precocious 10 year - old wisecracker in 2001's The Mummy Returns, where he was played by English child actor Freddie Boath..

The script pages that were used to audition actors for the role, pages penned by Alfred Gough ( Smallville writer ) and Miles Millar, depict Alex as being in his late teens to early 20's.. He is every bit the smart ass adventurer his dad is, right down to his penchant for firearms and glib remarks..

The three - page scene that was used to audition actors was set in a snowy wilderness and has Rick and Alex comparing their preferred weaponry.. The scene's humor relies on the phallic overtones of their exchange..

Rick brought along his collection of vintage weaponry, including a Tommy gun and long - barreled .45 caliber revolver.. Alex prefers the state - of - the art, namely the Walther P - 38 and the AK-47, a weapon that he tells his dad has not even come out yet.. This would set the story prior to 1947, and after 1938 since it includes the Walther P - 38.. ( The Mummy Returns was set in 1933 )

The roguish Alex has been through nine schools in three years, plays poker and has gotten into trouble before with a headmaster's daughter.. He is resourceful and wily, and is essentially Rick 2.0.. Alex also mentions at one point that he digs up relics, so it can be assumed he is an archaeologist or treasure hunter of some sort..

Brendan Fraser is returning for the role of Rick O'Connell.. The biggest surprise is that Rachel Weisz ( Evelyn O'Connell ) has pulled out of the role.. Maria Bello has now stepped in to play the character Evelyn O'Connell.. One of the biggest revelations was that the O'Connells are out to fight " the Emperor.." And who is the Emperor I hear you ask.. None other than Jet Li..

The Mummy 3 will initially take place in ancient times in China and follow the background of the film's villain, China's first emperor Qin Shi Huang ( Jet Li ).. The film will move forward to a post - World War II setting where Rick and Alex head to the forbidden tombs of China.. In the Himalayas they discover a mummy that can change forms due to a female wizard's ( Michelle Yeoh ) curse.. Of course this means a new mummy character..

Shooting is expected to begin in late July and it appears they are far from a final shooting script.. That can’t be a good sign..

Get Smart..

After being in development since 1999, Get Smart: The Movie started filming the 21st March 2007 and primary shooting will be completed by the end of June 2007.. Director Peter Segal ( 50 First Dates, Tommy Boy ) says the challenge was figuring out a way to update a silly Cold War comedy for the world after 9/11, finding things to laugh at in the face of global fear..

" We try to show the disconnect between government agencies as we saw right after 9/11 when the CIA and FBI weren't really communicating," Segal says.. " We wanted to make sure we were politically satirical.."

The movie’s storyline focuses on ' KAOS ' blackmailing the United States by threatening to give away launch codes for nuclear bombs that are in the hands of bad guys.. Max’s mission is to find and stop the bombs, ultimately saving the world..

The new film also tells the origin story of how Smart became an agent and met 99.. The twist this time around involves Agent 99 as the veteran spy who takes Max under her wing.. It looks like Hathaway will be more active as the movie version of 99..

Meanwhile, the iconic shoe - phone and Cone of Silence make their return..

It will star Steve Carell ( 40 Year Old Virgin ) as Max, Anne Hathaway ( Devil Wears Prada ) as 99.. Alan Arkin ( Little Miss Sunshine ) will be playing The Chief, Dwayne " The Rock " Johnson will be playing Agent 23, and Terence Stamp will be playing Siegfried, with Ken Davitan as the faithful Shtarker.. Masi Oka ( Hiro Nakamura from Heroes ) and Nate Torrence play Max's nerdy analyst friends Bruce and Lloyd.. David Koechner plays Larabee, Jim Murray plays Agent 13, Terry Crews plays Agent 91, and The Great Khali will be playing the giant.. The film will be shot in LA, Montreal, and Washington, D.C. Montreal is subbing for Moscow.. There will be several interesting cameo appearances, but Barbara Feldon will not be one of them..

" Get Smart " will be aiming for theaters on the 20th June 2008.. " Tomrrow's Entertainment " will post a trailer as soon as it's been released..

Area 51: From Game to Big Screen..

Paramount Pictures optioned the movie rights to Midway Games' sci - fi themed first - person shooter, Area 51, several years ago, back in 2004.. There haven't been any signs of life on the project since then, but word comes today that it is still very much alive..

The studio has commissioned writer Grant Morrison to pen a new script for the planned adaptation.. Morrison is a comic and graphic novel author who has written for DC and Marvel.. His Arkham Asylum, a revisionist Batman tale, has sold over 500,000 copies worldwide..

Rumor has it, the film will follow a hazardous materials specialist called in to investigate a viral outbreak, one that is possibly extra - terrestrial in nature, at the U.S. government's most top - secret military facility; Area 51.. Just like the game.. This would be perfect for David Duchovny to make a come back to the big screen as Specialist Ethan Cole ( Character voiced by Duchovny in the latest Area 51 game )..

Stan Winston, special effects guru, is on board the project as producer.. His Stan Winston Studios created the creatures for the game, so it's not a stretch to think that they might also be involved with the film production..

Most people haven't heard of the game series of Area 51, so here is a introduction for the latest game, which David Duchovny voiced in, and what we might see with the movie..

Will There Be a Last Friday?

Seems like the magic team behind the first " Friday " film might be back for " Friday 4.." No news on where the film stands with that, but Cube also mentioned that in addition to Tucker and himself he would also like to bring back Mike Epps and Katt Williams..

Ice Cube appeared on a small hip hop radio talk show a while back.. Like most people, I thought the first Friday was a great stoner movie, so I listened to a rebroadcast of the interview..

So what did I find? Nothing.. So I went straight to the source.. The big question asked was, whether Chris Tucker is interested in returning.. " I would love for him to," Cube told Tomorrow's Entertainment in a recent correspondence.. " We've talked about it, but that's about as much as he wants me to say.. But first off we have to wait for New Line to cut the damn check already.." Cube also went on to say, " There won't be another movie ( Friday ) unless my boy Tucker is there for the ride too.." And it was as much as Ice Cube would say too!

Tucker might be interested to get back to acting, after taking six years off and now finally returning for " Rush Hour 3.." On the other hand, Tucker only appeared in the first " Friday " film, so why would he skip two of them and then return for the fourth? And a major reason this is unlikely is because Tucker's " Rush Hour " sequel performances earned him over 20 million dollars per film, and the entire budget for the sequel " Next Friday " was only 11 million dollars..

Will we see a fourth " Friday?" Maybe, but I’m certainly not convinced by this interview, and definitely convinced Tucker won't be back as the legendary ' Smokey..'

30 Days of Night..

The tragic deaths of Chris Benoit and his wife Nancy and son Daniel have shocked the wrestling world. The police are calling it a double-murder-suicide, but is it really? Let’s look at some facts. It has been 10 years exactly since Nancy divorced Kevin Sullivan to marry Chris Benoit. In the 1980’s Sullivan, along with his then-wife Nancy, were running a gimmick in wrestling of how they were Satanists, and Nancy was known as “The Fallen Angel.” She later became known as “Woman.” The trouble with the Satanists gimmick was it was for real, and was not a work, or fake. In the 1990’s Kevin Sullivan was the booker for WCW, and he scripted his wife Nancy into having an affair with Chris Benoit who was a member of the Four Horsemen. This made for a good angle, except, the acting became reality as Chris and Nancy actually fell in love and Nancy divorced Sullivan to marry Benoit.

Benoit left the WCW to go to work for the WWE which was then known as the WWF. It is a fact that Sullivan threatened Benoit and told him he would kill him. Yes, that was 10 years ago, but Kevin Sullivan is no dummy. He is known for being a calculating, cold-hearted individual. Today, according to a source close to me, Kevin Sullivan is a high ranking member of the Satanic Church. The police need to consider the possibility that Sullivan carried out these gruesome murders in order to have his revenge, which is what Satanists live for. He could have entered the home, with an accomplice or accomplices and held the Benoit’s at gunpoint, Sullivan could have then bound up Nancy, and made Benoit and his son watch as he strangled the life out of her. Then the next day after making Benoit and his son spend the day in agony, murdered Benoit’s little boy because of his hatred for the offspring of Benoit and Nancy. Then he could have made Benoit wait an entire day before killing him to by hanging him in the basement.

By doing this, not only would Kevin Sullivan have lived out his Satanic Church creed with his lust for revenge, but he would have destroyed Chris Benoit’s reputation which is what has happened now as the wrestling world is attacking the memory of Chris Benoit remembering him as an insane baby killer and wife killer instead of the great World Champion wrestler and friend that he was.

Satanists hate the Bible and the police have stated that a Bible was found next to the bodies of Benoit’s wife and son. This would serve as a bizarre calling card as if to either say “What good did your Bible do you?” or to throw off investigators to keep them from suspecting Sullivan and his Satanists would have been involved.

Another thing to note is the fact that Kevin Sullivan was also associated with Sherri Martel, who died just a few days before the bodies of Chris Benoit, and his family was found, and the full details of Martell’s death have not been made known as of the time of this writing.

I wonder why the police have not even considered investigating the possibility the Kevin Sullivan killed Benoit, Nancy, and their child. It is certainly a possibility worth looking in to.

Also, Benoit was going to be crowned ECW World Champion on Sunday night. Why would he murder his family and kill himself when he was going to be on top again and make lots more money?

Why would he tie his wife up before killing her? He would have no reason to, but Kevin Sullivan sure would!

Sure he had some problems with Nancy, but that was 4 years ago and what married couple doesn’t have problems? Remember also that they reconciled and as far as everyone knows there has been no other incidents reported.

One also needs to consider the fact that Benoit loved his kids and was so proud of his son that was killed. His kids wore suits and ties to his wrestling events and was proud of their dad. He was loved and respected by all those who knew him.

In my opinion, there is no way he would have murdered his family. This whole murder case has Satanists written all over it and Sullivan is a Satanist and has the motive to murder them.

I am encouraging anyone who reads this to send this to police authorities and circulate it on the internet, so these facts can be investigated, before the case is closed and Benoit is written off in history a murderer. If Sullivan is the real killer, justice should be served!

As a former Pro Wrestler myself, now a born again Christian and world wide evangelist, I am hoping and praying for justice no matter who is responsible.

Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium is the strangest, most fantastic, most wonderful toy store in the world.. In fact, it’s a magic toy store and everything in it comes to life - including the store itself.. The emporium asks only one thing of its customers - you must believe it to see it..

From the looks of it they're going for a real Willy Wonka vibe, right down to the type of font in the title and Dustin Hoffman's purple suit.. And like Willy Wonka, Mr. Magorium’s Wonder, revolves around a magical environment ( In this case, a toy store ) owned by a 243 year - old eccentric who's looking to hand over his prize possession to someone a bit younger and more vibrant ( Natalie Portman ).. However, when a straight - laced accountant ( and non - believer ), played by Jason Bateman, begins to poke his nose into things, the magic slowly fades.. Zach Helm, who penned Stranger Than Fiction, wrote and will make his directorial debut with the film..

The flick itself, while clearly inspired ( At least in part ) by Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and / or Pee - wee's Playhouse, still looks pretty darn alive.. I love family films that inject all sorts of color into every scene, and Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium seems to be all about fun and imagination.. It's also a very interesting role for Hoffman, who appears in all kinds of funky outfits with a lisp and an extra jump in each step.. It's a role I'd expect out of Robin Williams, not Hoffman, but I'm sure he'll deliver the goods.. He always does.. Portman once again returns to a " cute " role, the kind of girl next door character she played in Zach Braff's quirky Jersey flick.. So if you liked her in that film, you'll certainly dig her here..

In what was a poorly thought through prank or an eerie forewarning, someone apparently reported the death of Chris Benoit's wife on Wikipedia - the online open source encyclopedia - more than 14 hours before police discovered her body, along with her son's and husband's, at the pro wrestler's Fayette County home..

An anonymous user edited the biography of the wrestler on Monday at 12:01 a.m., said Sandra Ordonez, communication manager for the Wikimedia Foundation, which runs the encyclopedia..

Authorities discovered the bodies at the Benoit's Green Meadow Lane home that afternoon, at 2:30 p.m..

The Monday morning posting said: " Chris Benoit was replaced by Johnny Nitro for the [ ECW ] Extreme Championship Wrestling Championship match at Vengeance, as Benoit was not there due to personal issues, stemming from the death of his wife Nancy.."

Adding to the mystery, the anonymous poster used a computer whose internet protocol, or IP, address was traced to Stamford, Connecticut, where the headquarters for Benoit's employer, for World Wrestling Entertainment, is located..

During a press conference Tuesday, June 26, Fayette County district attorney Scott Ballard confirmed that Chris Benoit had murdered his wife and son.. His wife was bound at the wrists and feet, while there were no signs of restraint on his son, both died of asphyxiation.. It is reported that his wife died on Friday, his son died on Saturday, and Benoit killed himself later Saturday evening or early Sunday morning.. Benoit's body was found dead of asphyxiation and hanging by the cord of a weight machine in his basement.. It was also reported that there were Bibles by both Nancy and Daniel's bodies..

On Wednesday, June 27, County's district attorney Scott Ballard explained that Benoit may have killed his son with a chokehold.. He said the boy had internal injuries to the throat area, but showed no bruises, indicating he may have been locked in the crook of his father's arm.. Nancy Benoit had bruises on her back and stomach consistent with someone pressing a knee into the small of the back while pulling on a cord around the neck.. Benoit killed himself by wrapping a cord around his neck that was attached to a weight machine, and when Benoit released the weights about 240 pounds caused his strangulation.. Ballard said the pull - down bar had been removed and Benoit was found seated against the machine..

Did Chris somehow update it through a WWE server? It is a chilling revelation and police want to know who in Connecticut made the posting.. If it turns out that someone knew that early and the WWE still held that poorly thought out tribute to the killer, there will be more criticism heaped on the organization..

The posting now raises questions of who, if anyone, knew about the deaths and if so, when..

" We are looking at that, trying to track down the IP address," said Fayette Sheriff's Lt. Tammy Pope in a statement to WAGA - TV.. " It's either true or it's a hoax.."

Anyone can post and edit content on the Web encyclopedia.. Further more, an IP address, which is a unique set of numbers that every machine connected to the Internet carries, does not necessarily have to be broadcast from where it is registered..

The IP address from which the 12:01 a.m. addition was made had been flagged for " vandalizing " other Wikipedia entries in the past, ABC News reported..

Earlier this month, the same IP user also edited a post about WWE wrestler Chavo Guerrero Jr., a close friend of Benoit's who reportedly was the recipient of at least one of the text messages Benoit sent over the weekend before the discovery of the bodies..

In that edit, the IP user took out a damaging description of Guerrero from the post, ABC News said..

Wikipedia does recruit volunteer editors who troll the entries to ensure that facts within posts are properly attributed..

According to a timeline posted on Wikinews, which is the news source of the nonprofit foundation, within an hour of the 12:01 post, the edit had been changed with the comment: " Need a reliable source.. Saying that his wife died is a pretty big statement, you need to back it up with something.."

Another hour went by.. Then a second anonymous edit, using what appears to be an Australian Internet service provider, added the attribution: " according to several pro wrestling websites.."

Again, the edit was changed after 20 minutes with the comment: " Saying ' several pro wrestling websites ' is still not reliable information.."

The posting was brought to the attention of the foundation, based in St. Petersburg, Fla., and an employee left a message with Fayetteville authorities about 11 a.m. Tuesday..

" We provided the IP address, and I guess they were investigating," Ordonez said..

The Chris Benoit entry, updated hundreds of times this week, has now been " locked " to prevent further edits by posters..

And talking about 80’s movies.. While " Rocky Balboa " fights his last fight, " John Rambo " goes back into action, John McClane " Lives Free or Dies Hard " and " Indiana Jones " saddles up again, producer Lorenzo Di Bonaventura is looking back at Axel Foley..

Lorenzo di Bonaventura, is digging into a fourth installment in the Beverly Hills Cop series.. Well, let me just say, the sequel is in very, very, very early development.. Oh, and remember, they’ve tried to get this off the ground before.. Three or four times before, actually.. So don't get in line, just yet.

Apparently Eddie Murphy is down with the idea, although there is nothing formal yet.. Eddie’s movies haven’t been the same for the past ten years or so.. Most of his recent ones consist of him dressing up in fat suits and playing a number of family characters.. These were funny but the Eddie Murphy from the 80’s was a foulmouthed crackle - pop, which we all loved.. Murphy's status as a family comedian has studios worried about letting him swear up a storm again..

Warner Bros. Pictures lost the film rights a few weeks ago to Robert E. Howard's mythical conqueror series after seven years of assorted failed attempts to resurrect the property..

Larry and Andy Wachowski, original " Conan " director John Milius, Robert Rodriguez and Boaz Yakin were all hired for their takes which varied between the original film and the more pulpy novels in tone..

If New Line makes the deal, said to be an 18 - month term with one extension, the studio will have to start from scratch as Warners owns the various drafts it developed..

He is " purchased " by a wealthy television producer and taken to a desolate island where he must fight to the death against nine other condemned killers from all corners of the world, with freedom going to the sole survivor..

Since its creation in 2002, WWE Films have released several theatrical endeavors under it's banner, co - producing The Rundown and Walking Tall and solely producing See No Evil and The Marine.. And now, in 2007, we are blessed with a new addition to the family, The Condemned.. And by blessed, I mean severely punished..

The Condemned tells us the story of a millionaire television producer, Breckel ( Robert Mammone ), who has a dream: to broadcast a fight to the death, between 10 death row convicts from all over the world, on the Internet.. The last convict standing after 30 hours will be set free and given a large payoff.. Taking place on a small, unnamed island, he assembles a crack team of producers and cameramen and goes to work.. Out of these convicts, the film centralizes on Conrad ( Famed wrestler Steve Austin ), who was prisoned in Central America and must make it out alive to get back home to Texas and his girlfriend..

The film, like most of the B - level action genre, has little plot and is unapologetic about being a cross between several films that came before it ( In this case, Battle Royale, The Running Man and the lesser known No Escape and The Game come to mind).. And for that, I give it credit for at least being aware that it is a painfully obvious clone.. As far as this aspect plays towards the entertainment factor; not so much..

The death scenes are very unapologetic and brutal for a film of this caliber and for this, I will also give the filmmakers some credit.. For these scenes, the film seems to switch from action to the slasher genre.. Everything from rape to slit throats to other depraved acts are presented for the audience..

The aspect The Condemned suffers from the most is the ridiculous subplots, of which it has three.. Three subplots for a film with almost no recognizable central plot.. The fact that all three of these are very cliché and boring does not help the film at all.. If anything, taking them out would have reduced the running time by about 20 - 30 minutes and made the film much more enjoyable.. We have the girlfriend subplot ( Which was the most pointless out of the three ), the FBI subplot ( Which gives the audience some hope for our hero but is never really shown as doing much of anything ) and the inner turmoil among the show's crew..

Another big beef I have with the film is the camera work.. Every time a fight scene pops up, we are treated to cinematography similar to The Blair Witch Project.. The live events are shot better than this film.. With the WWE behind it, you'd figure they would at least stage the action scenes well and employ competent people for this component of the film, since that is what they do for a living..

The film does manage to entertain in a few segments.. The dialogue, while awful, works towards the humor of the film.. You will be chuckling at humor so bad it's funny and many unintentional moments as well.. More so with the unintentional moments, which Vinnie Jones ( Snatch, X-Men: The Last Stand ) provides the majority of..

The Condemned fails on many levels and succeeds only minorly in capturing the B - grade action films of the 80's.. Even from an action standpoint, the film has little to offer, opting to instead show us what is going on in the broadcasting control room than what is going on with our characters on the island.. With some better pacing and about 30 minutes cut out of it, it could have been an moderately enjoyable action flick.. Instead, we are stuck with yet another WWE action film that does not deliver..

I give " The Condemned " 1 out of 5..

Chris Benoit Dead: McMahon " Death " Storyline Ends..

On June 25, 2007, Benoit was found dead in his home in Atlanta, Georgia, along with his wife, Nancy Daus, and his son, Daniel..

According to lead investigator Lt. Tommy Pope, of the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department, in Fayetteville, Ga., the deaths of WWE Superstar Chris Benoit, wife Nancy and son Daniel were the result of a double murder-suicide..

Benoit failed to appear both at Saturday’s live event in Beaumont, Tx., and WWE’s Vengeance: Night of Champions in Houston Sunday night, after informing WWE of a family emergency.. Several curious text messages sent by Benoit early Sunday morning prompted concerned friends to alert Richard Hering, VP of Government Relations for WWE, Inc.. Hering, in turn, spoke with Fayette County sheriffs Monday, and requested that they respond to the Benoit residence to check on him and his family..

Authorities representing the Sheriff’s Department initially had a difficult time entering Benoit’s new Fayetteville home Monday afternoon, which had been guarded by two large German Shepherds roaming freely around the property.. Once authorities entered the residence, they quickly located the bodies of Benoit, Nancy and Daniel.. The three bodies were found in different rooms of the home, according to reports..

At 10 pm Monday night, Lt. Pope held a press conference in conjunction with Scott Ballard, the district attorney for Fayette County.. The press conference officially ruled authorities’ findings as a double murder - suicide from within the home.. There was no sign of gunshot wounds or stabbing, according to Pope.. But they are not ruling out other causes, such as poisoning, suffocation, or strangulation.. Pope noted he was not confirming any of these causes - just not ruling them out at this time..

An autopsy has been scheduled for Tuesday morning at 10 am.. However, it could be weeks before there is a result..

The three bodies have been received by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s crime lab, in Decatur, Ga., where autopsies will be performed Tuesday morning.. Toxicology reports will not become available for at least two weeks..

WWE Monday night canceled its scheduled live 3 - hour " Monday Night RAW " program, which coincidentally was originally billed as a " memorial service " for WWE chairman Vince McMahon, whose character was recently killed off in a controversial scripted storyline..

For those who are unaware, " Hitman " is a film adaptation of the video game series " Hitman.." For a while there, Vin Diesel was the name that had been attached to the film as Agent 47.. Which I personally wasn’t looking forward too..

I was hoping for Jason Statham from " The Transporter " films.. He's already got the look, outfit, attitude and moves.. I tried to find a trailer for " Hitman " but was unable to find one.. It is being reported that the trailer for " Hitman " will be shown before " Die Hard 4: Live Free or Die Hard.." So as soon as it hits the net " Tomorrow's Entertainment " will post it for you.. But I did find a fan made trailer which had Statham playing 47.. So at least his fans can see what could, and should, have been!

Now Timothy Olyphant will play 47.. I’m a huge fan of " Deadwood," I can’t wait to see him play another growling, deadly sonofabitch.. Personally, I think his face looks too soft for the character for my tastes, but Olyphant is a hell of an actor, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt..

Based on the 1988 John Waters cult comedy and a movie adaption of the Tony Award - winning Broadway show of the same name comes the completely fictional story of " pleasantly plump " teenager Tracy Turnblad ( Nikki Blonsky ), a big girl with big hair and an even bigger heart, has only one passion - dancing.. Her dream is to appear on “ The Corny Collins Show,” Baltimore’s hippest dance party on TV.. Tracy seems a natural fit for the show except for one not - so - little problem - she doesn’t fit in.. Her plus - sized figure has always set her apart from the cool crowd, which she is reminded of by her loving but overly protective plus - sized mother, Edna ( John Travolta ).. That doesn’t stop Tracy because if there is one thing that this girl knows, it’s that she was born to dance.. As her father Wilbur ( Christopher Walken ) tells her, “ Go for it! You’ve got to think big to be big..”

After wowing Corny Collins ( James Marsden ) at her high school dance, Tracy wins a spot on his show and becomes an instant on - air sensation, much to the chagrin of the show’s reigning princess, Amber Von Tussle ( Brittany Snow ), and her scheming mother, Velma ( Michelle Pfeiffer ), who runs television station WYZT.. Even worse for Amber is the fact that it’s not just the audience who loves the new girl in town; Amber’s sweetheart Link Larkin ( Zac Efron ) seems to be smitten with Tracy’s charms as well.. This dance party gets personal as a bitter feud erupts between the girls as they compete for the coveted “ Miss Teenage Hairspray ” crown..

At school, however, a short stint in detention and raised - eyebrows caused by the budding relationship between her best friend Penny Pingleton ( Amanda Bynes ) and Seaweed ( Elijah Kelley ), opens Tracy’s eyes to a bigger issue than the latest dance craze or the coolest hairdo - racial inequality.. Throwing caution to the wind, she leads a march with Motormouth Maybelle ( Queen Latifah ) to fight for integration and winds up with an arrest warrant instead.. AvP 2 Update..

Is this the first look at Predalien ( Hybrid ) in the AvP2 movie?

We all know that the PG - 13 toned down nature of Alien vs Predator was its major downfall.. Well, that and the fact that the story wasn't all that good, but I remain optimistic that Alien vs Predator 2 will be better and considering they are going for an R - rated film this time around is good, but the fact that they are heading back into the city, a la Predator 2 is a little bit of bad news..

However, we all remember the end of AvP and the little hybrid alien that hatched, well it appears a maquette of the hybrid has been leaked and it looks pretty damned cool as you can see from the pic above.. ( As all pics posted on " Tomorrow's Entertainment " click on to enlarge )

Though the Alien ( s ) franchise ended at the second installment for me, it is nice to see the studios getting creative.. AvP didn't really do anything for me, but that's not stopping an AvP 2 and what looks like a new creature altogether.. But to be quite honest, I am still unsure about this maquette as I have seen sketches of similar before.. As you can see here..

But then again, maybe this is what they will be using as a new creature in the upcoming Alien vs Predator: Survival of the Fittest, and will be looking forward to seeing it in action on the big screen..

Aloha everyone.. Well I think " Tomorrow's Entertainment " has made history.. It was nominated by a few people at Blog of the Day Awards and was awarded on Saturday 23rd June 2007 for the Blog of the Day.. It might have made history due to the fact that " TE " has only been up and running for 23 days when it was awarded.. Thank you to those who did nominate the blog.. It has been going very well for the 3 weeks it's been online, getting more regular visitors daily and looking better and better with every day..

Today also marks our 1000 visitor.. Working out roughly to be about 50 a day.. With the help of the regulars and advertising, hopefully this will increase tenfold.. Once again thanx for the support and be sure to stay tune..

Pathfinder, a film that feels quickly put together to capitalize on the success of the similar 300, has actually been done for a while, sitting on a shelf trying to find an appropriate release date.. Now that 300 mania has kind of died down and before sequel summer really kicks off, mid - April seems like a good fit for this bloody Viking tale.. Grindhouse didn't exactly set the box office on fire and families still sick of Easter candy and ice skating comedies may be ready for something a little more hardcore.. Pathfinder is rated R " for strong brutal violence throughout.." That's all some people need to know to decide if Pathfinder is the right action ticket for them and those ticket buyers will probably be pretty happy.. Everyone else might want to find a different movie road..

Doom and Lord of the Rings star Karl Urban returns to the world of ultra - violent action in Pathfinder as " Ghost," the grown - up version of a Viking boy who gets left behind after his clan battles a Native American tribe.. Ghost is raised within the tribe and actually becomes their savior in a fight against the Norsemen.. Yeah, yeah, yeah - the loose plot is all an excuse for director Marcus Nispel to wreak bloody havoc between the Native American and Viking tribes.. Pathfinder is a series of disembowelments, beheadings and general destruction, set in the muddy area of the Wampanoag tribe.. It's The New World meets The Texas Chainsaw Massacre remakes and the question is will action fans respond to the bizarre mix of history and horror or let this Pathfinder go its own way?

You have to be a pretty hardcore action - only fan to really enjoy Pathfinder because that's all you're going to get.. Most of the film is silent, choosing to rely on battle after battle to tell the legend of Ghost.. The problem is that director Marcus Nispel shoots the whole thing in shades of gray and black ( even the blood spumes are black instead of red ), making a film where even the silent action is hard to follow.. As a director, he mistakes dirty for authentic and the whole thing feels about as real as the neighborhood kids playing cowboys and indians.. And what comes between the action scenes is almost completely useless with talk of demons, prophecies and the wolves that battle within the hearts of man.. It just isn't that interesting a story, and a lackluster director and uncharismatic lead don't help.. Urban tries his hardest to sell the hero, but he seems miscast and left flailing by a script that gives him nothing to do.. He ends up looking more like a lost Village person than a true legend..

Luckily, Clancy Brown ( who has ruled in everything from Lost to Carnivale to the voice of Lex Luthor on Justice League ) gets to chew some scenery as the leader of the Vikings set on Native American destruction.. Brown may not get to speak English ( all of the Vikings are subtitled ), but he grunts and growls as the villain and ends up stealing the entire movie.. When he finally gets a showdown with Ghost on an icy cliff - side, the film actually comes alive and becomes as much fun as action fans will hope it had been all along.. The end of the road almost makes this a path worth taking, but most audience members will probably be too bored by the time the movie finally gets there to really care..

I give " Pathfinder " 1.5 out of 5..

Oscar Laureate to Play Noble Laureate..

Last Friday, Morgan Freeman and his film production company announced plans to make a movie starring Freeman as former South African president and Noble laureate Nelson Mandela..

The film, to be called " The Human Factor," will be based on an upcoming book " The Human Factor: Nelson Mandela and the Game that Changed the World " by journalist and author John Carlin..

" I have known Nelson Mandela personally for quite some time, and am continually in awe of his enormous presence in the world.. The opportunity to portray him in this film is a great honor," Freeman said in a statement..

Revelations Entertainment, the company run by Freeman and business partner Lori McCreary, is expected to begin production in early 2008.. A theater release date has not yet been set for the independently made movie..

" The Human Factor " will look at Mandela's public and private life in the first year of his presidency, when South Africa was just emerging from years of apartheid..

Mandela, now 88, was a long - time anti - apartheid activist who was jailed by the former white - ruled government of South Africa early in his life and served 27 years before being released in 1990..

Mandela went on to lead the country when apartheid ended, and his policy of reconciliation helped earn him the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993..

Freeman earned an Oscar as best supporting actor for his 2004 role in Clint Eastwood's Academy Award - winning boxing drama " Million Dollar Baby.."

Saw IV Update..

Well thought it might be time for a " Saw IV " update.. This photo is the first look at the upcoming " Saw IV " movie.. The following interview was conducted by Bloody - Disgusting a short time ago..

This evening Bloody-Disgusting had the chance to speak with Darren Lynn Bousman, the director Lionsgate's Saw IV, which hits theaters everywhere on October 26. Inside you'll find a whole assortment of goodies from stories about the MPAA, new characters, the plot, twists, traps and even... Saw V?! Read on for the skinny and watch for word from Tobin Bell (Jigsaw) soon.

Director Darren Lynn Bousman made his return to the States today to talk to us journalists about SAW IV, which wrapped last week in Toronto, Canada. There are many questions looming about the film, mainly about the plot, "Nobody knows what this is about," Bousman said. "Every plot synopsis you've read online is false and untrue. The thing with Macfadyen looking for his daughter? Believe it if you want. But no one knows what this story is." He also noted that he prefers to leave everyone speculating, especially on this entry.

What he did reveal about the plot was that he killed everyone off, so there will be some new characters, “I killed off everybody, I needed to bring new people in. [There is] more character stuff than in SAW 2,” he explained to B-D. “We did some f-cked up sh-t this year that's exciting to me - we were able to keep the secrets hidden.” He reveals that SAW IV will have two new characters... Parez and Strom (?)” He also talked about how amazing it was working with star Scott Patterson, “[He’s] insane and a great guy. He started improvising,” Bousman tells us. “It was gold... The best I've ever seen.”

Tackling the script was very difficult and they had to take a new approach, “[We took] a much different approach, [the script] is more complicated, [it’s] a hard read, [you] have to read it again and again,” he reveals, “There are four different stories going on - not just about torturing.” And speaking of torturing… Bousman reveals that the best trap in the movie came during a slow point in filming, when he improvised a new scene, “I came up with a new trap during a slow three days, the best in the movie!”

Hopefully you’re a fan if you’re going to see this movie, because Bousman tells us it will help in the long run, “It helps audiences knowing the first three [SAW films], but you don't need to.”

Bousman also tells Bloody-Disgusting that SAW IV will stay true to the franchise… “Jigsaw doesn't lie,” he hints. He joked that the rule sheet is basically a thick book.

One of the main questions everyone is asking: why come back? Bousman tells B-D that the twist in the script sold him instantly, “I was adamant about not coming back, but when I hit page 87 they [Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton] got me... I knew then I needed to come back.”

He explained that the SAW films are like magic tricks, “Everyone is trying to see how the trick is done and then [in the end are] tricked.”

The biggest shocker of all is that Darren revealed to Bloody-Disgusting that co-creators Leigh Whannell and James Wan were in fact involved with SAW IV… even though they’ll deny it!

He also talked about the MPAA and violence, bringing up how the first 20-minutes of SAW IV might create a reaction from the board. He also joked that the MPAA was ok with the autopsy in SAW III because CSI has more graphic autopsies, “[The MPAA] have more problems with emotional torture, like girls crying.” In the third film Bousman shot a bunch of extended gore specifically for the MPAA to cut out of the film, only they let it slide. In the end Bousman removed the footage because it was never his intention to have it shown in the first place. “There’s a scene in SAW III, which will be on the director’s cut, where [Bahar Soomekh] has her head blown up and her husband [Angus Macfadyen] is scooping her brains off the wall hugging her telling her ‘everything is going to be OK’ “

The best part of the interview was Bousman joking with B-D about whether or not he’ll be back for more, “I will not be directing SAW V... I promise.”

After altering the landscape of the psychological thriller with " Se7en ", David Fincher returns to the genre with " Zodiac ", bringing with him an abundance of tenacity and inventiveness.. Patience is a virtue though - with a dubious screen time of over two - and - a - half hours and a story spanning 22 years, it is a daunting but ultimately fulfilling task..

Based on true events, the film opens with an unrelenting attack on two lovers in a parking lot in 1969.. Letters and ciphers confessing to the crime are sent to several newspapers by a figure named Zodiac, with the insistence that they be published or the killings will continue.. As fatal incidents mount, three men fall under the Zodiac's spell, including reporter Paul Avery ( Robert Downey Jr ), mild - mannered cartoonist Robert Graysmith ( Jake Gyllenhaal ) and homicide inspector David Toschi ( Mark Ruffalo )..

The media frenzy and public panic that follows is voiced through the three male leads, who become physically and psychologically weathered by their obsessive search to discover Zodiac's identity.. Gyllenhaal and Ruffalo deliver solid performances, but it is the scene - stealing Downey Jr as alcoholic reporter Paul Avery whose charisma adds humour to the otherwise intense landscape..

The film is amazingly detailed and impeccably crafted.. The opening murder sequence is chillingly shot - a lucid late - sixties aura perpetuated by darkness with flashes of distant fireworks.. Fincher's penchant for cinematic flair here is never ostentatious ( unlike " Panic Room "), remaining understated enough to truly serve the story..

The film is not without problems.. It is paced with a methodical rhythm of suspense and anxiety but remains a sensory overload of information. Fincher's preoccupation with the density of the investigation occasionally becomes sluggish in the second half of the film, losing the momentum and tension of the first half's cat - and - mouse interplay between Zodiac and the San Francisco Chronicle.. Some may feel a little hard done by at the lack of a neat conclusion, but this uncertainty is all part of Fincher's unsettling existential musings.

" Zodiac " is an engrossing psychological thriller, delivering impeccable style and uncompromising substance..

I give " Zodiac " 4 out of 5..

Blades of Glory Review..

Just when you thought Hollywood comedies had covered every sport, along comes " Blades of Glory," a zany look at the world of figure skating.. It's " Talladega Nights " with ice skates instead of engines..

From an early age, orphan Jimmy MacElroy ( Jon Heder ) has had an amazing ability to figure skate.. With the help of his money - hungry adoptive father Darren ( William Fitchner ), Jimmy becomes one of the sport's most elegant and admired competitors.. On the other side of the coin is the filthy Chazz Michael Michaels ( Will Ferrell ), whose ability is overshadowed by his crazy antics off the ice..

Chazz and Jimmy are arch - rivals - and after a fight on the rink they are banned from competition..

Years later and working in dead - end jobs, the two former champions find a loophole in the system that will allow them to skate again - but only as a pair.. After months of vigorous training, Jimmy and Chazz take to the ice, with funny - if underwhelming - results..

Ferrell and Heder's on - screen chemistry only shines when they are both on the ice; their dialogue outside the rink lacks the high frequency of laughs their fans would expect..

Fitchner's supporting role is a far cry from his faultless performances as Agent Alex Mahone on TV's " Prison Break.." This film is certainly a pointless venture for someone of his calibre..

Fans of the NBC production of " The Office " will be happy to know Jenna Fischer's performance as Jimmy's love interest provides plenty of laughs, especially a kissing scene between the two that will leave audiences in hysterics..

Like other PG - rated films starring Ferrell ( Kicking and Screaming, Elf, Bewitched ), " Blades of Glory " is a watered - down entry in the comedian's canon.. His hardcore fans will be disappointed..

I give " Blades of Glory " 2.5 out of 5..

Robert Neville ( Will Smith ) is a brilliant scientist, but even he could not contain the terrible virus that was unstoppable, incurable; and manmade.. Somehow immune, Neville is now the last human survivor in what is left of New York City; and maybe the world.. But he is not alone.. He is surrounded by “ the Infected ” - victims of the plague who have mutated into carnivorous beings who can only exist in the dark and who will devour or infect anyone or anything in their path.. For three years, Neville has spent his days scavenging for food and supplies and faithfully sending out radio messages, desperate to find any other survivors who might be out there.. All the while, the Infected lurk in the shadows, watching Neville’s every move, waiting for him to make a fatal mistake.. Perhaps mankind’s last, best hope, Neville is driven by only one remaining mission: to find a way to reverse the effects of the virus using his own immune blood.. But his blood is also what The Infected hunt, and Neville knows he is outnumbered and quickly running out of time..
